Reporting a problem with a tool
Bug reports are genuinely welcome — most of the fixes on this site came from one. To make a report actionable, include:
- The tool URL you were on.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- A sample input that reproduces it — a URL, a keyword, a small slice of the list you pasted.
- Your browser and device (e.g. "Chrome 141 on Windows", "Safari on iPhone").
- Anything in the browser console, if you know how to open it. Optional, but it usually halves the time to a fix.
Never send us passwords, API keys or client login details. No SerpHammer tool needs them, and no one here will ever ask.
What to write about
- A tool is broken or wrong. Use the checklist above.
- You want a tool that does not exist. The Request a feature page explains what to include.
- A tool gave you a result you cannot explain. Send the input and what you expected — most of these turn out to be worth a change to the tool, or at least to its FAQ.
- Privacy or data questions. Deleting your Domain Manager data, or anything else in the Privacy Policy — write in and it gets handled.
- Press, partnerships, or linking to a tool. You never need permission to link to a tool. For anything else, ask.
