Yes, completely free, with no domain limit and no paid tier. All it needs is a free Google account to sign in with, so your list is tied to you and syncs between your phone and desktop. There is no credit card step and no trial that expires.
Because your portfolio has to live somewhere it can follow you between devices. Signing in with Google gives each account its own private storage area, so the dashboard you open on your laptop is the same one on your phone — and there is no extra password for you to invent or for us to store. Sign-in is handled by Google itself; the tool never sees your Google password.
Only you. Every domain is written to a storage path keyed to your own account ID, and the database rules reject any request to read or write another account's data. Your list is never pooled with other users', shown publicly, or sold. Signing out or revoking access leaves nothing visible to anyone else.
Yes — it is registrar-agnostic, which is the whole point. You record which registrar each domain sits at, so a portfolio spread across five providers reads as one list instead of five logins. Worth being clear about the trade-off: it does not connect to your registrar accounts. It will not renew a domain, read your invoices, or change nameservers. It is the overview layer above your registrars, not a replacement for them.
When you type a domain, the tool looks it up in public registry data over RDAP — the modern, structured successor to WHOIS — and fills in the registration and expiry dates for you.
Every field stays editable, so you can correct or fill in anything by hand. That matters because coverage is not uniform: .com and .org resolve reliably, while some country and newer TLDs either do not publish an expiry date publicly or do not answer RDAP at all. When a lookup comes back empty, type the date from your registrar and the domain tracks exactly the same from then on.
No — and it is better to know that up front. There is no backend sending mail, so there are no email or push alerts. What you get instead is an always-visible dashboard: a live count of everything due within the next 30 days, and colour-coded expiry dates that shift as a renewal approaches — inside 90 days, then 30, then a red warning inside the last 7.
So it replaces the spreadsheet you forget to open, not your registrar's renewal emails. Keep those switched on, and use this to see the whole portfolio at once.
Yes. Purchase price, annual renewal price and sale price each carry their own currency, so an Indian registrar billing in ₹ and an international one billing in $ can sit in the same list. Totals are reported per currency rather than converted — you see spend in ₹ and spend in $ side by side, with no exchange rate silently applied on a date that would be wrong tomorrow anyway.
Yes. Bulk Add takes a pasted list of domains, looks each one up, and skips anything already in your portfolio, so re-pasting an overlapping list is safe. Once they are in, bulk edit applies a renewal price or an expiry date across many domains in one step, and you can flag names as premium or as ones you are deliberately letting expire.
You can install it from your browser as an app — it then opens in its own window on your phone or desktop, without browser tabs and address bar. Your last-synced portfolio stays readable offline, and edits you make without a connection queue up and sync the next time you are online. New WHOIS lookups are the one thing that genuinely needs a connection, since they query live registry data.
It's free, private, and takes seconds to start.
